As if, I ever needed a reason to make smores or anything with chocolate and marhmallows for that matter– Kellie Strickland, the amazing lady behind Little Nummies, has certainly inspired me with this cute kids snack concept.

Kellie’s version is made from wheat bread, apple butter, marshmallows, goldfish crackers, peanut butter and mini chocolate chips. For a more dessert-esque version, try the penguin KSW Style – using wheat bread, nutella, marshmallows, graham crackers, and mini chocolate chips. The possibilities are endless – create purple penguins with a PB & J variety and substitute bananas for the marshmallows.
Got an idea for a penguin of your own? Post your idea in a comment or create your own variety and send us your snapshot. We’d love to see what you come up with.
I’m so happy to have found the new-to-me site, Little Nummies, Kellie asks us to check back often as she trys to post creative ideas each day. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next. (Oh yeah, she also takes submissions)
