Things your mother wants to hear

Here’s to the simple things that mean the most to our kids – spending time together, walking hand in hand, quiet moments at bedtime, staying up to see the sun set and the stars come out. Sharing your secret recipes and stories from when you were young.

To the reader who found me looking for things you mother wants to hear, that’s a simple one:

Tell her you love with all your heart.

Let her know you appreciate all the time she spent with you and values she instilled in you. It is because of her you are who you are today.

And above all else tell her you always felt LOVED.

End with a big hug, or phone call if you can’t be near, and wish her a very special Mother’s Day.

Here’s to mother’s everywhere!
and the kind souls we are raising to send out into the world.
