Win a Mobile Broadband NetZero 4G Hotspot ($800)

I am a mom on the go.

My days seem to get a wee bit crazier and crazier as the weeks go by.

Yesterday, I ran into the mall (somewhere I almost NEVER go) to grab a few things I needed for Friday’s post (you won’t want to miss it!). I had been running around all morning and had a few deadlines creeping up on me, so I came up with a brilliant plan to grab a quick bite to eat in the food court and then use the mall’s wifi to get some work done.

It felt so grown up, to be at the mall ALONE. Casually traipsing by checking out all the food vendors knowing I could pick anything I wanted. I wasn’t trying to please 3 little people and get out of there as quickly as possible without making a scene. I settled on a wrap and a cherry coke and made my self comfy in a quiet booth in the corner.

I ate my lunch, pulled out my laptop and was ready to let the ideas flow, but wait … the mall doesn’t have wifi!?!

What?!? Now, a few weeks ago my whole day would have been shot, but thanks to my handy dandy, little black NetZero hotspot. I didn’t even bat an eye. Two pushes of a button, 30 seconds later and I had lightning fast 4G connection. Seriously I can’t even edit photos that fast from home!

I left the mall with minutes to spare and rushed to grab my daughter from school. I let her play on the playground for a few minutes and then suddenly, an unexpected call from a client who needed my help right away. Instead of rounding up her up and ruining her day so I could get home to help, I sat down at a nearby picnic table, whipped out my iPad and talked them through their issues thanks to the NetZero broadband connection while my daughter swung from a zipline.

Score one for Mom! And two for Technology. This little black box is changing my life and now I want it to change yours.

NetZero 4G Mobile Hotspot

What would you do with your time if you could go anywhere and still be connected? Would you make the most of it?

Since I got my NetZero, I have blogged from the Children’s museum, wrote an article in a swanky coffee shop and did some research today on the Riverwalk. My options are endless and I am so excited to take them, I think clearer when I am outdoors or near water and now I can really capitalize on that. I love this little guy that fits smartly in my purse and I know you will too.

I learned that the plans are much more reasonable than the mobile broadband provider I used to use until my hotspot died :(

I don’t have a smartphone so the loss of my hotspot hit me hard!

Being forced to sign a lengthy contract is the reason I’ve hesitated to get 4G-enabled devices and hotspots in the past — that’s a big selling point for me!

Hey there just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The text in your article seem to
be running off the screen in Chrome. I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with web browser compatibility but I figured I’d post to let you know.
The layout look great though! Hope you get the issue solved soon.
    Kudos
