where life, love and motherhood connect

Just one of those days …

Just one of those days …

Hey folks, how have y’all been? I feel like we’ve been in one of those long distance relationships where too many things happened too quickly and you didn’t keep your partner updated on all of them and then suddenly you feel like you don’t know each other anymore … yep, that’s where we are right now.

And believe me when I say, it’s me, not you.

I didn’t pop in to tell you about the family tragedies I had last month, or how sick my children have been for WEEKS now or how hard my days have been and how heavy the load on my shoulders has been.

I haven’t shared the toll this professional blogging/writing career is taking on me … oh wait, I never even told you I became a professional blogger/writer! Whoops, see where I am going with this?

I have been an awful long distance partner.

but no more.

Starting tonight, I am going to do right by you. You few who have followed me loyally for so long, who have stuck with me as I have wished and washed my away around what this blog is and what it is to become.

I also feel like you are very much a part of it, which is why I would like to open up the floor to you. I’d love to know where you want to see this little old blog go. Do you want it to grow? Or stay just the way it is?

Would you like to find fresh, new, fun content here 3 or more times a week? Or are you content getting personal updates from me every now and again.

Please take a quick moment and fill out the form below, only you will see your answers (and me later of course, and together we’ll make this blog something we can both be proud of!)

Thank you

Life in an Instant: Summer Lovin’

A friend told me not too long ago, that we only really had some 6,500 odd days to spend with our children before they are off & grown, and on their own. Something about that number has buried itself deeply into my brain, probably for good […]
