Our playroom is the first room you see when you enter our home. To represent us better as a family, it needs to be tidy (at least some of the time), welcoming and above all ORGANIZED! I’m one of those “every type of toy has a specific place” kind of Moms. The kids know this … Daddy does not. Time to make our organization strategies undoubtedly clear I guess. Our playrooms is …. sort of like this now. It just needs a little push to become something great.
Stay tuned as I show you some fun more fun playroom ideas, pieces I’m considering for storage, and other decorating projects that are just as lovely for grownups as they are for kids.

Love, Love, Love the large piece of artwork. How wonderfully inspiring!
Good luck with organizing the playroom. That’s one of my toughest rooms also.
Ok the middle picture….where is that piece of furniture from??? I LOVE it, and would totally like to shop for it but clicking the picture just takes me to a photo site and not the catalog it came from. Any help?
Hi Lisa,
So sorry that photo linked back to photobucket ?!? I tracked it down to a few different websites but none of them had a source for the image or the piece of furniture … but I think I found yo a likely candidate.
Check out the new children storage piece from IKEA, a few of these pushed together would give you an almost identical effect.

I love the playroom featured in the first photo. I love the artwork and love that the storage bins are also chalkboards. All of the playrooms you featured look so nice and neat. Wish mine could look like that!
