Frugal Father's Day Crafts

I can hardly believe Father’s Day 2010 is just one month away! I guess it’s about time for me to start pumping out some fantastically frugal Father’s Day craft ideas that you can make with your kids. I thought I’d start with this fun project that is so incredibly simple children of all ages can do it themselves and even better –> it only cost $1 to make! Yep, a dollar.

What You’ll Need:
- some eager kids
- a wooden frame (we got ours for $1 at Michael’s)
- markers
- a picture of the kids (you get extra points if Dad is in it too)
- foam scrapbooking stickers (optional)

Simple DIY Father's Day Craft

We made these after nap time, Happy & Sweet designed their own frames and when they were done borrowed some of my scrapbooking stickers to add as embellishments. I was so thrilled with how these turned out and I just know Dad will be too :)

If you make one of these for you Dad, send us a pic or tell us all about it. Happy & Sweet will be so proud.

Thanks for sharing this!Facebook0Pinterest0Google+0Twitter0bufferStumbleUpon0Email

Yay! So glad you liked it and so touched to know you’re still reading Kids Stuff World. You were one of the very first people I “met” when I started blogging. Making friendships like yours is what it’s all about :)

Stopping in from FMF…these are adorable! We did something similar for my hubby for Christmas, and it was a hit!

Have a great weekend!

You’re so funny – my hubs NEVER reads my site :( He’s way too occupied with fishing shows and European soccer matches to bother with some fru fru girl site like this. As far as being ahead of the game, don’t I wish. We gave him these for his birthday a few weeks ago. I haven’t begun to think about Father’s Day here yet either …

Paula is my latest blog crush, if you haven’t visited Two Ellie well, then you have no idea what you’re missing. Eye Candy for days and days I’m telling ya. Plus, she’s a sweetheart to boot.

What a super-cute idea for Father’s Day and what a way to plan ahead! Father’s Day always sneaks up on me. :)

Your kids are adorable, by the way. But I bet you already knew that!
